The T-Rex 600 Build, setup and testing pages

The all New T-Rex 600e, this new larger brother of the very popular T-Rex 450 is a true 50 sized model running 600mm blades as standard. It has been released in two versions, Standard with metal frames and the CF version with Carbon Fiber frames.

Within these pages I will show photos of the CF version build and share anything I found that was not in the manual.
I would be pleased to hear form anyone who is building one and happy to answer any questions.

This site along with www.heli-world.co.uk , www.heliworld.eu and www.smallrotors.co.uk have been started in order to share with you some of the things that we have learned after buying, flying and repairing a number of radio controlled electric helicopters.

It all started with a Twister Bell 47, micro twin rotor heli but soon went onto Twister Fixed Pitch then Collective Pitch. These three were all RTF (ready to fly) so a T-Rex 450 XL kit was next. Following a successful build sights were set on a larger model so Ikarus Eco 8 was next. The Eco 8 may be an old design but it is an very good helicopter to fly, this I found out after working on two Kyosho EP helicopters, the difference in flight, performance and even obtaining spare parts is very marked ! Next came the Century Swift, T-Rex 450 SE and now I have one of the first batch of T-Rex 600's a 50 size helicopter that has just come to the UK.
Aerial Photos have also been a project in the last few weeks, see how I did them with the ECO 8 on the above www.heli-world.co.uk link.

As said at the start, we are sharing the knowledge we have amassed, we are not experts but just enjoy building, flying, along with problem solving, modifications and even that odd repair after that flight that just did not go by the book!
