Servos

I went for the JR 591 servos but the builder has a wide choice. Another good
servo is the Futaba 3152, a digital unit with faster speed. Above shows the fixing that
comes with the kit plus the rubber mountings and brass bushes that come with the servo.

Once the rubber dampers were fitted I did not have room for the front plastic plate
so the screw and washer went into the brass bushes direct and fixing plate takes the screw
thread on the inside of the frames.

Here we see the heads, remember 'A' to the outside of ball links. Thread lock should be
used on the nuts at the back of the link balls.

You can see the fixing plate on the inside, just a little thread showing.
The two servos become very close, could be worth making sure they are no deeper !

The short elevator links needed to be 1mm shorter than the book said using JR 591's.
They fit tight to each other so they neede cutting down.

Servo pushes into the frame from the outside.
Not much room here, remove anti-rotation bracket and link helps!

Back of servo showing fixings.

Bracket back on and showing the RH side servo.

The 9254 on the tail, fixed to back of mounting plate. The ball and fixing nut was missing
from my kit. As it is the same as the T-Rex 450, I had some in the flight box.
Later I did find one in the bag of extra parts but no 2mm nut for the back.
